Scores of people are feared killed after an explosion ripped through a crowded motor park in Gombe town, Gombe State, residents have said. A journalist based in the state, Mallam Tildee, told us that the blast occurred at Dukku Motor Park early Monday. Mr. Tildee said he was on his way to the scene of the blast and would be able to give casualty figure later. The spokesperson of the police in the state, Fwaje Atajiri, could not be reached for comments. A similar blast had occurred in November at the Gombe line motor park, killing scores of commuters, drivers and traders. A Taiwan teenager allegedly stabbed her uncle to death on Wednesday because he shut down her internet to stop her from staying online late into the night. The 19-year-old, identified only by her surname Lin, was taken into custody in Miaoli County in the north-west of the island after she allegedly stabbed her uncle in the stomach with a 29-centimetre knife, according to the semi-official Central News Agency. Based on their initial investigation, the police said the teen was connecting to the internet around 2 am when her uncle shut the power down. An argument ensued, and the teen pulled out the knife. The highest percentage of MBAs from the Class of 2014 have job offers at graduation and three months later if they graduate from programs that are ranked among the Top Ten. A police officer attached to the Ikoyi Police station has been accused of physically assaulting a couple, 29yr old photographer, Ejeh Smith, and his wife, Grace, 26. The couple said the policeman, identified as Dada Ogunsanya attacked them with his rifle along the Lekki Roundabout on Wednesday December 3rd. On Tuesday, December 9, a commercial bus driver fainted after getting into an altercation with officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) in the Idi-Iroko area of Lagos. According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened around 9.30 am, and the LASTMA officials supposedly seized and confiscated the phones of passersby who attempted to film the scuffle. A witness, who spoke under the veil of anonymity, revealed that the bus driver, after hitting a Toyota Highlander, attempted to drive away.
